Terms and Conditions - Balloon stock orders

1. Costs

Prices for individual products listed in our Balloons - Uninflated section are in Australian dollars and include GST.  Postage/delivery and helium inflation are not included.  See section 3 for delivery costs

Prices listed on our website are only available for online orders.  Any orders placed via email or telephone may receive regular retail price for products.

2. Stock availability/substitution

Our website is designed to only show products we have in stock. We generally hold numerous quantities of each product but as we receive a large number of orders every day, the item you have selected may subsequently be sold out or unavailable. We will contact you via email and/or telephone to discuss your options (refund, substitution of similar item or holding your order until more stock arrives).  

In some cases, the manufacturer may vary designs slightly. We have noted these where possible in the item description, and reserve the right to substitute balloons of similar or greater value where the basic design is minimally altered.  Should there be a significant difference, we will contact you to discuss your options.

Please ensure your correct details are provided when you place your order.  Should we be unable to reach you and if we have not heard back within a reasonable time, we will send the items that are available and refund you for out of stock items.

Large quantities

If your order is for multiple quantities of a particular item(s), we may need to re-stock to fulfil your order and this may delay the shipping of your order.  We will contact you if the delay is more than 2 working days outside the delivery times in section 3.


3. Shipping/turnaround times

Balloons Online prides itself on speedy processing and shipping of all orders in a timely manner. We pay particular attention to the 'Special Order Instruction' specified by you during the checkout process, so if you require the balloons by a particular day please be sure to include this information.  We will contact you as soon as we can if we are unable to meet this event date. 

The shipping options available to you are: 

  1. Regular Post (Australian Deliveries Only) @ $9.95
  2. Express Post (Australian Deliveries Only) @ $20
  3. Pick-up at Store by You - FREE
  4. International Deliveries (extra charge may apply)

After we receive confirmation of your order with full payment, your order is packed within 1-3 business days. All orders are shipped promptly from our warehouse and delivered to most Australian cities within 1-5 working days 

For remote areas, this time may take up to 10 days.  You can get an estimate on turnaround times by checking the Australia Post "Calculate Postage Tool" with postcode 2038 as the "From" suburb

Delays or lost in transit

Most of our orders are sent with Australia post, so any deliveries that are lost or delayed in transit will need to be investigated by their team before a refund or replacement can be processed.

International orders

Orders delivered outside of Australia may attract additional courier charges and we will contact you if this is the case.  You can contact us prior to placing your order to get a quote.

Please also note that it is your responsibility to pay for any customs duties and taxes that may be incurred in your country. 

4. Refunds/Returns

Returns for change of mind will be considered on a case by case basis.  Please contact us by telephone (1300 655 058 or 02 9569 8101) or email sales@balloons.com.au regarding this within 14 days of your order.

5. Faulty items

Goods found to have a manufacturing defect will be refunded or replaced at no charge.  Please note that all claims must be approved by Balloons Online.  You contact us by telephone (1300 655 058 or 02 9569 8101) or email sales@balloons.com.au with the details - preferably with photos or video footage showing the fault.  

In some cases, we may require the return of balloons to us for further investigation. It is your responsibility to pay for the return freight costs and ensure that all returns are packaged to prevent damage in transit. Please enclose a copy of your order and contact details with your returns and address this to:

We will not replace foil balloons which have been overblown, as indicated by tears along the seam area; burned, or have puncture holes; exposed to moisture of any form; roughly handled, improperly stored, or balloons exposed to high temperatures or direct sunlight.
